The Restaurant Owned By Kenya's Most Passionate Chef / Nabo Bistro

Welcome to Nabo Bistro, the restaurant with the coolest chef in Nairobi! I would normally talk to you about the food, which I will do as well but first I need to tell you about Joy the owner and chef. After going to culinary school in Switzerland and working in California, USA, she decided to come back to her roots and establish this amazing bistro here in Kenya. Loresho to be more persisted. Joy is one of the most passionate chef we have ever met since we started reviewing restaurant and trust us, you can taste her passion in every single dish! Did I mention that she worked for Michelin Star chefs in the past^ Because she did!

Now what about the food. First, try the tacos because there are fun, pretty, tasty and perfect to share as an appetizer or keep them all for yourself as a main. The burger was juicy and perfectly cooked with the best kind of fried, parmesan fries. The steak was great and came with some crunchy onion rings which was the perfect side. Don't forget to get a chocolate lava cake and I will leave it at that.

This place is more than food. It also has the perfect ambiance for a drink on a sunny day since this restaurant is basically an outdoor one and their barman is just amazing.

Overall a great experience so next time you are in Loresho, make sure to stop by Nabo Bistro to have a bite and say hello to Joy!
