Not all pots have orchid roots growing into the media. Some orchids are potted up in pots that have a rim, then another rim inside. It is in this area that many orchid roots start circling the rim of the pot. This circling of orchid roots around the rim of the pot can be precarious when it comes to repotting the orchid. Most of the time orchid roots that are circling around the perimeter of the pot are really stuck to the pot as well. Damaging the roots is very easily done, so this short video demonstrates how you can release orchid roots that are circling around the perimeter of the pot, before unpotting the orchid. #beginners #tips #tipsandtricks #orchidcare
