True Meekness │Fruit of the Spirit

Acts 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
Acts 7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Stephen showed meekness. What if that was you. What would you do? Ask forgiveness for the known and unknown sins in your life.
Most would be looking at themselves asking forgiveness but asking to forgive them of their sins. That is the epitome of meekness.

Meekness is:
1. Submissiveness of spirit
2. Never lifts itself up in opposition, meekness will never say “I showed you”; if it’s out of their mouth or in their heart. Those have a piece of Christ some will never know. They are capable of waking in an area and meaning it. Some say I love you in Jesus but they don't mean it. It’s just a thing for them to say. Lip service.
3. It bends a reed before the storms of life. It will bend but it won’t break.
4. Is not easily provoked. They will just love you.
