On this jam-packed Tuesday, join me as I venture through my day filled with airport runs and vibrant conversations with riders. While waiting at the airport, I took some time to work on my YouTube strategy, reposting an old video on DoorDash tipping culture, which surprisingly started trending and has amassed over 4,000 views! The barrage of comments like "get a real job" proved the misconceptions about gig workers.

Drawing parallels, I compared airport rides to surfing. Just like catching waves, airport pickups come in sets, and you've got to strategize to catch the right "wave." Not to mention my 'Coffee Cup Strategy' and the notorious phantom surge that plays hide and seek.

The day's rides included some intriguing conversations. From a jestful chat about emergency seat responsibilities with a passenger, hoping he’d channel his inner Tom Cruise, to an enlightening conversation about the not-so-glamorous lives of some residents at SLS Brickell. Yes, lawyers and doctors... and possibly a few with dubious distinctions.

But it wasn't all rants and tales; the art of conversation does pay off, with tips as a testament! I wrapped up the day with a respectable $200, not bad for a "chatty Kathy" Tuesday. And oh, stay tuned for tomorrow; I've got a reservation scheduled for an early Wednesday morning ride.
