After a tumultuous few weeks the House of Representatives has a new speaker, and based on CNN's distaste for him, the so far calm acceptance by populists, it seems that he is the best shot so far of bringing conservative policy to the House of Representatives and acting as a check on Biden. Time will tell how true this holds.
