On May 11, 2023, police in Wausau, WI initiated an investigation involving a 65-year-old individual who communicated with an undercover Facebook profile, unaware that it was controlled by an undercover officer posing as a 15-year-old boy. Two days later, the man eventually agreed to meet at a prearranged location and was welcomed by officers. He later revealed during an interview that he works as a school bus driver.
