Is This My Last Ever Sighting Of Famous Lion "Spearboy" ? | Maasai Mara Safari | Zebra Plains

Spearboy the lion known for surviving with a damaged leg showed up at a buffalo carcass that had been left by three nomadic males from Tanzania. The three males were resting close by and were fully aware of Spearboy. The injury to the leg of Spearboy means he was seen as weak and non-threatening by other male lions so as long as he acted submissive they seemed to tolerate him (usually after a bit of a scuffle). A fully fit male probably would not have survived so long as a nomad in the same areas Spearboy moved in. Unfortunately it seems there have been no updates on Spearboy since May 2023 and this video looks like it could have been my final sighting of him.
