In December 2022, a La Crosse police officer responded to a trouble with party call at a parking ramp. A 30-year-old female allegedly charged and screamed at a caller in an elevator. The officer soon located her inside the elevator, but she refused to speak and tried to close the door. Despite attempts to calm her, she continued screaming and actively resisted.
