The New York Times has analysed the video of the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital bombing in Gaza on October 17 shared by the Israeli forces. The report claims that the video from the Al Jazeera live streaming shows a missile which most likely did not cause the explosion at the hospital as claimed by the IDF. As per the NYT, the video shows the missile detonating in the sky two miles away from the hospital. The finding does not answer what actually did cause the blast, or who is responsible but the contention that a failed Palestinian rocket launch is to blame remains plausible.
