FROM THE ARCHIVES: Todd Rundgren interview (2000) with Darren Paltrowitz

Legendary singer, songwriter, producer and tech-visionary Todd Rundgren spoke with Darren Paltrowitz (host of the "Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz") in 2000 prior to a then-upcoming appearance at Long Island's Westbury Music Fair. Well before Darren knew how to do a passable interview. Or had the proper gear to record an interview with.

But simply put, Todd was a patient interview subject. And weirdly, listening to this "digital time capsule" 21 years later, you hear how ahead of the curve Todd Rundgren was when it came to computer programming, tech, artist-label relationships, digital downloading, and keeping things fresh on tour. He also kindly answered some questions after Darren's "last question" about making the Bad Religion album "The New America." Insightful interview from a man who will hopefully be a Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee very soon.
