The best thing when travelling is when you are able to have an extended layover in a city you have never been before and this is exactly what we did during our journey from Nairobi Kenya to Windhoek, Namibia. This time, we stopped for almost 24hrs in Johannesburg South Africa.

Because of our limited time in town, we decided to jump on the hop on hop off sightseeing bus to see the most things possible in Johannesburg in the shortest amount of time. And even though we normally stay away of these very touristy type activities, they do have their place and this was the perfect example.
