North Korea refugees: Seoul calls on Beijing not to return escapees

South Korea says Beijing is forcibly repatriating North Koreans who were arrested in China during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Rights activists are calling on the international community to stop the stream of forced returns, as many North Koreans will face harsh treatment for fleeing their home country.
