Exciting Airshow - USAF Thunderbirds, F-16, F-35, WWII Aircraft, B-17, B-52, and more - 20231023

This is what I do with consumer grade video clips after attending an airshow for fun. The video starts with a retro'ish introduction to an elephant walk of WWII bombers with a B-17. The goal is to set the mood. After the elephant walk, it transitions from a retro look to modern look-and-feel. It showcases part of the performance by the US Air Force Thunderbirds, a mock WWII attack with explosions, and some odds and ends.

Notes: This is a composition using Davinci Resolve, Fusion, Blender, Photoshop, and a bit of help from software written in Visual Studio because I can. I filmed it using a BMDCC 4K with almost zero stabilization, cheap lens, and all the auto features turned on. I left the pro-video gear at home this day. Music and sound effects were from artlist.io. 3D objects from Sketchfab. Blender for the drive-in theater scene in the introduction. WWII news clips from archive.org as public domain. I started running out of source material, so used a few clips from artlist.io and a few of my personal clips from another shoot.
