New AI-powered technology will inspect delivery vans and help keep drivers safe

Amazon has introduced an innovative AI-driven technology designed to detect the tiniest irregularities in delivery vans, including issues such as tire deformations, undercarriage wear, and damaged body parts, all in an effort to prevent on-road complications.

This cutting-edge Automated Vehicle Inspection (AVI) system brings peace of mind to fleet managers who, in the past, had to depend solely on visual inspections and manual checks for daily safety assessments.

Amazon is collaborating with the tech startup UVeye to introduce the AVI technology in the United States, Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom, Amazon.com reported.
