Hamas prevent Palestinians from leaving Gaza to use them as ‘human shields’

Former IDF Intelligence Corps head of research Yossi Kuperwasser says the terrorist group Hamas are preventing Palestinian civilians from leaving Gaza in order to use them as “human shields”.

On October 7 Israel declared war on Hamas after the Palestinian militant group fired thousands of rockets as far north as Tel Aviv.

“We realise that this is not going to be a walk in the park,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“It’s going to be costly especially for our soldiers, that’s what we are most worried about – it might endanger the hostages.

“We are fully aware that the Palestinians living in Gaza are also going to be in our way, and we asked them to leave.”
