Ask any parent out there what was the one thing they absolutely feared the most when their baby started gaining its independence, they will surely tell you it was the anticipation of the ‘terrible twos’. The tantrums, the screaming, the insatiable curiosity, they all take a toll on a parent’s nerves. A lot of “horror” stories are out there about this period in a toddler life.

The terrible twos is a normal stage in which toddlers begin to struggle between their reliance on adults and their desire for independence. Two-year-olds undergo major motor, intellectual, social and emotional changes. Their vocabularies are growing, they're eager to do things on their own, and they seem to be able to grab everything that they can and cannot reach, for some reason.

Oftentimes, toddler curiosity leave a trail of mess behind, but with their desire to become independent sooner, rather than later, they will deny it until they faint. They might even scream in the end. But this little guy kept his cool and remained diplomatic throughout his entire face-down with dad over the toilet paper mess in the living room.

This cute toddler has quickly found out it that it's probably not a good idea to leave a huge "toilet paper" mess around the house. Check out his reaction when dad confronts him. The child's way of trying to defend himself is just too adorable!
