Why do I keep hearing lies from those in power
MPs and local politicians, talking by the hour
The press, editors, NGOs, and well paid scientists too
Their words deceiving, distorting what is real true

But I won't be deceived, won't let them lead astray
I'll take responsibility, for my life just starting today
Let's join our common needs, to create a world anew
