Israel Caught In Another Lie?
Israel has made fresh allegations against Hamas - saying it’s found al-Qaeda materials on dead Hamas fighters, including instructions on making chemical weapons.
The problem is that Tel Aviv’s credibility isn’t in great shape right now. The evidence it produced to back up its claims about the Al-Ahli hospital explosion has had serious doubt cast on it, including by a Channel 4 News investigation.
And, sure enough, the evidence Israel’s now presented to show that al-Qaeda literature was found in the hands of Hamas fighters is already being challenged.
Some say the materials look like they were simply printed off the Internet - noting the similarity with an online book cover. Others have done a bit of detective work to show that one of the blurred images used actually came from someone’s online PowerPoint presentation.
Of course, it’s possible Hamas made a terror guide for its fighters by simply throwing together things plundered from various online sources.
But do you believe Israel’s latest allegations?
