Robinson Woods

Robinson Woods once belonged to Alexander Robinson, the chief of several combined Native American tribes in the area during the early 1800s. The Robinson family burial ground is located here. I took a visit to examine the site and its history. Even though it is said to be haunted, the place was very peaceful and I felt no concern at all. There was a female deer keeping an eye on me for a bit and then she wandered off. Legend states you should leave something at the site, but I wasn't sure if if I should have or not because nothing was at the grave and I didn't want to leave something the animals might eat by mistake, so I left my gratitude of being able to visit the place and learn the history of it that day.
