Things God Will Never Do

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

God is dependable. You can count on Him. Always. Because of this, we know that there are certain things that God will never do.

1. He will never turn away those who seek Him
John 6:37, John 6:44-45, Hebrews 4:16

2. He will never hold your sins against you — if you are in Christ!
Psalms 130:3-4, 2 Corinthians 5:19-20, Romans 4:8, Psalms 103:10-18

3. He will never leave nor forsake His covenant people
Deuteronomy 31:6-8, Joshua 1:5-9, Hebrews 13:5-6

4. He will never suffer the righteous to be moved
Psalms 55:22, Psalms 16:8, Psalms 62:5-7, Psalms 121

5. He will never lie
Numbers 23:19, Hebrews 11:11-12, Titus 1:2

6. He will never change
Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8

7. He will never break His Word
Deuteronomy 7:7-11, Jeremiah 32:37-42, Psalms 89:34-37, Isaiah 40:8

8. He will never fail
Isaiah 55:10-11, Psalms 119:89-91, Joshua 21:45, 1 Chronicles 28:20, James 1:17

Let the people of God rejoice! For . . .
He will never fail
He will never break any of His promises
He is constant and will never change on us
He will never lie to us
He will never turn us away
He will never leave us nor will He ever forsake us
He will never suffer the righteous to be moved
He will not remember our sins if we are in Christ

All glory be unto Jesus Christ our Lord, Saviour and Redeemer of Israel!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives, and we will dwell in the House of the Lord forever!
