Boost ENERGY and Combat FATIGUE | Vinyasa Yoga
Matsyasana (mot-see-AHS-anna) or fish pose is great backbend pose that may boost your energy levels and reduce fatigue as well as anxiety. Our modern world puts everything in front of us and this typically shows in our posture (e.g. slouching, rounded shoulders, forward head posture, etc.) This sequence features poses that allow us to counteract some of that everyday life with a couple additional backbends. Backbends can be intense if we're not used to them or if we push too far. It can also release emotional tension that we sometimes store in our bodies. Be mindful with your body and honor what it shares with you throughout this practice. Enjoy!
