Do I have a God-given purpose and calling?

I'm your host, Adam Gordon, and I'm here to guide you on this journey of self-discovery and spiritual awakening.

First and foremost, we want to assure you that you are not defective. You are not like a scratch-and-dent appliance, but rather, you are God's masterpiece, carefully crafted in His image and likeness. Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are His handiwork, created for good works that He predestined for us.

God had a plan for your life from the very beginning, as Jeremiah 29:11 proclaims, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

But finding your purpose isn't about striving to be worthy by your own actions. The truth is, we are all imperfect, and it is through the grace of God and faith in Jesus that we are qualified for His love, forgiveness, and calling. Romans 3:10 and 3:23 remind us of our imperfections and our need for a Savior.

Once you have accepted this grace through faith in Jesus, you become a child of God, grafted in as one of His chosen people, co-heirs with Christ, and seated with Him in heavenly places.

The foundation of finding your God-given purpose is to know God and to realize that you are no longer your own. Galatians 2:20 and 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 emphasize this transformation.

As we surrender ourselves to God and allow Him to guide us into our God-given calling, we find a level of contentment and satisfaction that cannot be attained any other way. In surrender, there is true peace and contentment.
