Cat Toilet Training Day 28 Blitz Cat Using the Toilet Bowl

This is 1 yr old Blitz. She pees in private over the 1" hole in the center of the 'platter/tray' but only does # 2 if I sit in the bathroom with her at night. In fact, all 3 cats are like that. They are not too keen on the 'hole' in the center of the platter that holds their flushable litter. We are having endless stand-offs. Several mishaps (although, touch wood, the past 2 days have been accident free). I find the cats will only use the toilet for # 2 if I bring them into the bathroom & sit in there with him - bribing them with treats.

I give lots of praise after they do their business and several treats with the hopes this will encourage them to go on their own.

I think this is going to take a very, long, long time :( I'm aiming for Christmas! (Today is Aug 31st, 2011)
