How to Paint Your Kitchen Counters to Look Like Marble or Travertine Stone

I have detailed annotations added but for some reason they are not showing up. If you know how to fix please help.
I painted my kitchen counters in Sept 2012. I hated the ugly green ones. After one year, my counters are still very shiny. I highly recommend using Epoxy Resin to seal your counters after you paint them. It's very durable and I use my counters several times every day to prepare meals, etc. Sometimes, I forget to be careful and I place a hot pot on them and they still look as good as new!
