Tommy Mont, fresh from a coaching stint at the University of Maryland, talks with U.S. Rep. Joseph Barr '39 about his new job at DePauw University on June 26, 1959. Mont, who backed up the legendary quarterback Sammy Baugh on the Washington Redskins, was DePauw's head football coach from 1959 through the 1976 season.
