There are 3 things that determine human events:
1. God's will (influence)
2. Satan's will (influence)
3. People's will (outcome)
Number 3, humankind's will, ultimately determines the outcome of the first 2 wills.

"Another parable He put forth to them, saying: 'The Kingdom of Heaven is like a Man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, His enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went His way.' He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this'.....He answered and said to them: 'He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the Sons of the Kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the Harvest is the end of the age, and the Reapers are the Angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age."

“Yet now, [Jewish] brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers. But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His Prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, Whom Heaven must receive until the times of RESTORATION OF ALL THINGS, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His Holy Prophets since the world began."

"I [Daniel] was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the Clouds of Heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. Then to Him was given Dominion and Glory and a Kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His Dominion is an Everlasting Dominion, which shall not pass away, and His Kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed....I [Daniel] was watching; and the same horn was making war against the Saints, and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the Saints of the Most High, and the time came for the Saints to possess the kingdom....Then the Kingdom and Dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole Heaven, shall be given to the people, the Saints of the Most High. His Kingdom is an Everlasting Kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him."
