NOTE: I just realized what I said about battery life wasn't quite clear. I've enjoyed 2-3 hour sessions without any issue, not that the battery dies after that long. I saw around 55% remaining after a 2.5 hour session today. I'd guess it lasts around 6-8 hours in general.
