Huge crowds take to the streets on either side of the debate and use competing slogans for and against Emma and Kate’s appeal to save humanity.
President Hayes and President Orlean make an inspirational speech calling for unity while a solution is created by scientists.
Cellular technologists Dr. Soren and Dr. Peter suddenly have the original solution canceled in favor of a new plan from which they would benefit financially. (Both plans involve particle accelerator technology from the CERN Large Hadron Collider in Geneva.)
