I have no idea why Demon's Souls considered this a boss

I was really hyped from the last boss and expected a challenge. But instead, was subjected to a glorfied goon. The #blackphantom before the actual boss was more than a challenge. Here's hoping it gets better. Still enjoying the game. Can't wait tom finsh so I can give #sekiroshadowsdietwice a try.
