Ethnocentrism - Forced National Morality?

In this episode, we discuss ethnocentrism. We pitch the idea that on an individual level, you should be ethnocentric in your own country but you should not be ethnocentric when visiting other cultures. On a national level, we propose that you should not be ethnocentric, that you should let other cultures choose their own path based on their culture, and that they should definitely not be bombed because they do not conform to our moral standards. We see these types of bombings all the time under the guise of protecting human rights - which really just means not conforming to our culture's moral standards.
