Thirty years after his assassination, Rabbi Meir Kahane Z"L is remembered as the controversial father of Jewish activism in America. Rabbi Kahane co-founded the Jewish Defense League in 1968. After making Aliyah, he became a member of the Israeli Knesset and founded the Kach Party in 1971.
