The "Hang the Jew" hoax, which claimed anti-Semitic mobs surrounded the 1913 Atlanta murder trial of Leo Frank, has been disproven and proven unsupported by facts. The hoax has been manipulated by academics, writers, and journalists over the years, with some even suggesting that the mobs were inflamed by Tom Watson's anti-Jewish rhetoric.
