Australian Echidna Adventure - RARE FOOTAGE HD

While filming my last video "Bowfishing HUGE Catfish - Catch n Cook" I stumbled upon the cutest creature I have ever come across, an Echidna, while she was swimming across a small stream. I managed to get this amazingly rare event on film and filmed her underwater adventure on my GoPro.

Now although Echidnas have been known to swim across rivers and creeks to find new land, I am almost certain that I am the first person to film underwater footage of an echidna swimming! This was one of the coolest things that I have ever experienced and I will never forget this moment :)
