"Eyes on Me, Church" - Jesus

I believe that most people don’t realize that confrontation and persecution go hand-in-hand with Christianity. And that’s something we in the western world are not familiar nor accustomed. We really don’t know what being persecuted for our faith means.

Although, I can see that in America, we are starting to see a type of persecution based on your beliefs. Confrontation against moral behaviors have been clearly demonstrated by our society. But, here in America, we have failed to make the connection between “Confrontation and Persecution.”

If your beliefs do not align or agree with your surrounding culture, you will be confronted and persecuted. And I honestly believe a vast majority of Americans won’t know how to deal with that when the time comes. Just remember this, your silence will render a vote of approval, even if you disagree.

However, I believe that the end-time church will have three similar characteristics that were demonstrated by three mighty men of GOD. Elijah the Prophet, Cyrus King of Persia, and John the Baptist. These men were appointed by GOD to carry out great works for the Kingdom of GOD. Two knew GOD. One did not. Yet, all three believed the Word of GOD and surrendered their life to HIM and accomplished great things for GOD's Glory.
