Discover Long Island's May 2021 unveiling of new LBNY mural

On May 4, 2021, “The Long Beach Osprey Wings” Mural commissioned by Discover Long Island was officially unveiled and gifted to the City of Long Beach, New York, as crafted by Greenpoint native and mural artist Kara Hoblin. Darren Paltrowitz (host of the "Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz") was on-hand for a press conference at the Long Beach Boardwalk about this unveiling.

Included are highlights from comments from Kristen Jarnagin (President and CEO, Discover Long Island), artist Kara Hoblin, Cliff Skudin (President of Skudin Surf), Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and Long Beach City Council President John Bendo, in addition to audio-based interviews with Kristen Jarnagin and artist Kara Hoblin.
