Smoked Brisket Meatball Bahn Mi on a pellet grill - BBQ Recipe and Tutorial!
Welcome to the Mothership! Today we are doing a ground brisket take on the Vietnamese Bahn mi sandwich! Add in our own spicy mayo and pickled veggies, and this is a recipe you definitely need to try! I'm using a pellet smoker, but the recipe should be the same for all smokers! Lets get started...
Ingredients:
French Bread (I used Ciabatta though!)
Cilantro (to garnish)
Meatballs:
1 Lb Ground Brisket
3 Tbsp Freshly Chopped Basil
4 Minced Garlic Cloves
1 Tbsp Fish Sauce
1 Tbsp Siracha
2 Tsp Sugar
2 Tsp Corn Starch
1 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tsp Kosher Salt
Pickled Carrot/Radishes:
~2 Cups Thinly Chopped Carrot
~1 Cup Thinly Chopped Daikon Radish
1/4 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
1 Cup H20 (or enough to cover the radish/carrots)
3 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tsp Kosher Salt
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
Spicy Mayo:
1/3 Cup Mayo
1 Tsp Siracha
1/2 Tsp Soy Sauce
