Unbelievable Year over Year Utah Housing Numbers - Most People Won't Believe What's Happening

NEW REPORT: March 24, 2023. How does February 2023 compare to February 2022? Most people won't believe what's happening. A popular way to compare data is to look at year over year numbers. I’ll show how Feb 2023 compares to a year ago. There are some major changes. The median days on market was 50. A year ago, homes were selling in 6 days. It’s a big jump, but nothing to be concerned about, 50 days is fairly normal. in February 2023, nearly 2,500 homes were sold. The shocker here is, that’s only 400 less homes from when the market was sizzling last year. In February the median price/sq.ft. was nearly $215, only $14/sq.ft. less than a year ago. In the upper Red box, the median sold price was almost $525,000. So, we are only down about $25,000 from 1 year ago. Is the Utah Housing Market Crashing or Recovering?
