“Israel Refused…” | Hamas Says Israeli Hostage Return Offer Was Rejected, Israel Cries Propaganda

Hamas said it had offered to release two Israelis captured during its deadly raid on October 7. However, the Israeli government refused to accept them, according to a Hamas spokesperson. Hamas said the mediator Qatar was told of the group’s intention to release the Israelis on Oct 21. On the same day, the group freed Americans Judith Tai Ranaan and her daughter Natalie whom it had held hostage. Israel described Hamas’s claim of it refusing to accept hostages as “mendacious propaganda”.
