A British Columbia government employee, Philip Davidson was against revealing his vaccination status to his employer. Philip reported the original policy for communicable disease prevention said, "Public service staff do not have the right to inquire if someone has been vaccinated, or whether the person has or had a communicable disease infection.” This was changed on October 5, 2021 when Lori Wanamaker, BC Public Service head said she had, "decided that BC Public Service will require all employees to provide proof they are fully vaccinated beginning November 22, 2021.”
