Cavalry Girls is a Rogue-lite, top down shooter with mech building, Waifu pilots and guns. Lots of guns. What is not to love?

The Final Day: XX hours remain.

my written opinions/grades:

Graphics
+ Anime character art drawn by real hands.
+ Crisp sprites and models.
+ High quality and solid FPS with little to no stuttering or lag.
- Top down view limits sense of depth and scale.
Gameplay
+ Fast paced combat and weapons management.
+ A variety of enemies that are sure to keep you on your toes.
+ The numbers, Mason, what do they mean?
- More menus than you can shake a stick at.
Story/plot
+ The story told in the campaign is unapologetically dystopian.
+ Ample "plot" and "backstory" for most ladies.
+ There are apparently different endings to be discovered.
- Story is told through what feels like MS powerpoint
Mechanics
+ LOTS of guns with considerably different styles and effects.
+ Mechs all feel unique and operate differently from each other.
+ Massive collection of upgradeable gear and accessories.
- You are always broke and are unlikely to actually get what you need.

Should you buy it?
+ If you like Roguelites, sure.
+ If you like attractive ladies in bodysuits, definitely.
+ If you like Mecha, solid yes.
- If you want a deep, enriching story, not really.

I have managed to actually record this and upload it before the full release of the game, even if it only by a few hours. Listen to my scuffed as hell explanation of the game and its mechanics. I scripted nothing and ranted like a lunatic. I hope you at least were not disgusted as I was by my terrible attempt at a dialogue.

The end of the demo is on day 33 of the 100 day campaign and its a tough little boss fight for those who do not have a good build going. I would highly suggest high piercing weapons over high bullet counts.

The boss was a complete push over for me, thanks to my "adjusted" income.

If you like what you see, why not try it out yourself. Personally, I am a min-max loony when it comes to mechs.

I do apologize for the lack of quality from my voice and commentary. I am not used to using it and I thought doing these things would be a good way to improve my over all speech and discussion skills.
