Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared on CNN to try to explain her recent call for a ceasefire as the Israel-Gaza tension rises. CNN host Abby Phillip asked, “What is Israel supposed to do about Hamas after they murdered, brutalized, abducted over a thousand of their citizens? Are they supposed to just do nothing?” AOC tried to explain her reasoning but blamed Israel for committing acts of “collective punishment” and using “indiscriminate weapons” with white phosphorous.
