When Churches Become Cult-Like: Differentiating Church from Cult

Unfortunately, for the past couple months I have been wrapped up in an Investigation Committee investigating some allegations as to potential spiritual abuses by my former Pastor at my old church, Midland Park. That investigation has now concluded and I wanted to share some generalized and helpful lessons from my own experiences attending that church and what I learned from the investigation process.

Atheist and former Church of Christ member David Johnson, along with David Russell, Dr. Tony Costa and Jamie Castro all join me to discuss how we tell the difference between a Bible-believing Pastor and healthy church environment vs. a cult leader in a toxic cult-like gathering masquerading as a church.
