Correction is needed sometimes. Do so from a place of peace.

This will always come up at some point. We all make mistakes. We all sin. The Lord corrects. Once in a while, He uses other people above us to correct us, whether it be a parent, leader, boss, or friend.

It is always good to do this in a place of peace and steadiness. When it is spoken in a highly emotional state, it causes a whole host of issues. It has about the same effect as kicking a hornet's nest. This is not a good scenario. However, it happens, often without intent. We are not perfect. When it does, repent of the wrong and quickly start over. If it has to be done at a later time, then so be it. The main thing is to ensure that anything left wrong is corrected before the enemy puts in a bunch of footholds between the people involved.

Now, this does not mean you pity or coddle the person. This is just wisdom. It is up to them to receive it. We are only the messengers. The Holy Spirit does the conviction.
