In the meantime, Israel's National Security Council issued a warning to Israelis residing in Egypt and Jordan, urging them to depart promptly, as reported by The Times of Israel. The Council expressed concerns that Israeli travelers might become targets of individuals angered by Israel's military actions in the Gaza Strip. Israel elevated its security alert level for Egypt, including the Sinai Peninsula, and Jordan to level 4, calling on all Israelis within those countries to leave.
