Dr. Justin Chin - Apr 27, 2023 - Red Deer, Alberta

Early in the COVID scare Dr. Chin, who has a masters degree in disaster medicine training, felt the fear of the disease, was actively following guidelines, and learned as much as he could to be ready for any future danger. Over time, because of what he was observing in the hospital, his position changed. The more Dr. Chin learned, the more he questioned. Then he was fired for his opinions, even to the point of receiving physical threats from colleagues and attacks from the media. He was eventually reinstated after an appeals process.
