This is another installment in my ongoing mandala art practice on Rumble. Mandalas have been used as a method for art therapy, and can be thought of in terms of Jungian Psychology. They are rooted in spiritual practices such as in Buddhism. For me, painting mandalas is a way to enter a flow state where I can just have fun and the process is more important than the finished product. Mandalas can be reflective of the mental unconscious states underlying the individual. It is interesting to see how they change depending upon the circumstances. This mandala is painted on a 12x12" canvas with acrylic paint.
