Historic Otis Traction Elevator @ Reid Castle - Manhattanville College - Harrison, New York

Recorded on 10/20/23. Karen invited me to see this amazing Otis elevator this campus has! This elevator is also located in a beautiful historic building which you will also get a mini tour of in this video. This elevator is from the 1890's. However, this elevator actually did get modernized in the 1940's/1950's as this elevator used to be manually controlled and had a gate on the inside of the elevator. This elevator received an automatic door and automatic controls during this time. Still, this is an amazing elevator in an amazing building!
