I have a lot of future thermal content so I wanted to bring you this Beginner's Guide to Thermal optics first. Then you can have a one-stop shop for all the different thermal optic terminology so you can go out and make the most intelligent possible purchasing decisions. I will say that the cost of the devices usually isn't very indicative of what you'll actually get. You really need to be smart about thermals and their pros and cons for knowing both the proper usage scenarios and the best deals.
