Veteran: “China is walking all over us, is a military threat to us. They stepped on us in Korea. They stepped on us in Vietnam, and they got all our jobs. So, how does your theory go on the fact what China is doing with Human Rights, and a threat to the world, when you say if we help too then they are going to be nice people. I don’t understand that.”

Emmer: “The premise that China is running away with this thing is flawed. I can disagree with you wholeheartedly… China is not running away with the world...We better hope that they [China] don’t go down financially...do you know that since 2005 … labor has been legally allowed to organize in China… do you know that they have wild cat strikes on a regular basis in China and what they are striking about is the same thing that American workers would strike about...when their economy hit the skids...you realize the big problem that China has today they have more people invested in the markets than they do on the politburo...it’s not all wonderful in China but it certainly isn’t this powerhouse that is going to bring the rest of the world to it’s knees."
