The violence in Israel and Palestine must end now

This video contains my own opinions based on 45 years of living on this planet as a human being, as a descendant of an extended family of Polish Jews who were wiped out in the Holocaust and as a survivor of 9/11. I am speaking from a perspective that values every human being equally.

If there is no ceasefire, the final outcome will be the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from Israel. This outcome does not really benefit the people of either Israel or Palestine. 2 million+ Palestinians — half of whom are children — will be either displaced or killed. Israeli people are already being unfairly demonised across the world for the actions of the Israeli state and are also losing many lives in the conflict. What kind of legacy could be expected for the people of Israel if this outcome is realised? Where would the surviving Palestinian refugees go?

Ask yourselves: who actually does benefit? In brief: the military industrial complex with immense profits from the armoury used in this conflict, the geo-strategic alliance between Israel, the US, UK & others finally ridding themselves of the Palestinian issue, the Israeli state increasing its territory and lastly the fossil fuel industry with oil & gas prices being driven up (at least in the short term).

Western mainstream media narratives & leaders are morally bankrupt. We have come to the point of openly rationalising the murder of children. If the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians is the final outcome, it will be the inevitable result of a broken, irredeemable system that values profits, power and territory over lives. I can't stand for that.

I know there will be people out there who disagree with what I am saying and that's fine. I do not wish to offend anyone and I apologise if I have. I needed to speak my own truth and I have done so.
